The Cherry Casino Flamingo Quartz is the pink version of the Cherry Casino series, released in 2020. The Cherry Casino series, from Pure Imagination Projects, is inspired by the decks of the old Las Vegas casinos. Its back, designed by Sam Devins, is simple and symmetrical, with a cherry in each corner. In this edition the colour recalls the fifties and the name alludes to the flamingo, a bird closely tied to the Las Vegas aesthetic.

Design

The back is a mauve pink with a metallic effect, combined with the series’ classic red cherry. The jokers and the Ace of Spades are customised with the cherry motif; the rest of the faces follow the usual pattern, with the familiar red on hearts and diamonds.

Manufacturing

It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) on Bee stock, thin and with a crushed treatment (the stock is pressed during manufacturing so the cards come out thinner and more flexible from the first use). It includes two gaff cards (trick cards designed for magic effects): one with a back on both sides and another with a blank face.
