Description
Ankh is a deck from the ARK label dedicated to ancient Egypt. It takes its name from the ankh, the looped cross that the Egyptians associated with life and eternity and placed in burials. Besides the illustrations, what stands out most is its pyramid-shaped case.

Design
The cards bring together illustrations inspired by Egyptian mythology and the iconography of the Nile civilisation. The case starts from the triangular shape of the pyramid: it opens horizontally and its sides and top unfold to form a large triangle. According to ARK, the mechanism was tested and refined for about six months until it reached a structure of six layers nested inside one another, with sliding guides and hidden axles that let it open and close smoothly without the mechanism being visible from the outside.
Manufacturing
It is a limited edition of 3,333 decks, each with its own serial number.
