The Lounge Edition in Passenger Purple is part of the Lounge series from Jetsetter Playing Cards, a brand inspired by vintage casino decks and the decks airlines used to hand out. This version takes its purple shade from the livery a major American airline has worn in recent years, and keeps the clean, understated look of the rest of the collection.

Design

The back combines features of classic and casino decks with an unusual detail: the design is offset, meaning it is not fully centred on the card. The faces are the traditional ones, but recoloured to fit the purple palette, so they feel familiar and yet slightly different. The box is made of a durable synthetic material and has spot UV varnish (a glossy layer applied only to certain areas) and silver foil details (metallic stamping).

Manufacturing

This is the standard back version. There is also a limited back version, with foil and varnish on the card backs too, sold separately. The cards have a traditional cut, which makes it easy to interweave them face down, for example in the faro (a shuffle in which the two halves of the deck interweave card by card).
