Design
The graphic recalls Afrobi’s early days, when he started out building cardboard ramps at home before turning professional. Berlinwood decks have the shape of a real skateboard: the nose (the front tip) is slightly longer than the tail, which helps you tell the front of the board apart and gives a more realistic feel in flips.
Materials and manufacturing
They are pressed from five wood veneers and made by hand in Germany, measuring about 98 mm long. The X-Wide size leaves more room for your fingers and tends to feel stable; it is usually set up with 34 mm trucks. This is a deck only: the trucks (axles) and wheels are sold separately.
