Description
Brick Block is a small obstacle from Blackriver Ramps, the ramp line of German brand Blackriver. It works as a slappy, a low kerb you get onto without an ollie, and has a coping on top (the edge the truck slides along) that imitates rough brick.

Design
Two sloping banks, one on each side, lead up to the long coping that runs the full length of the piece. This shape lets you come in from either side and helps you lock into grinds, the tricks in which the truck scrapes and slides along the edge. The brick texture gives a different feel from a metal or painted edge and is reminiscent of the brick kerbs you find in the street. The base has non-slip feet so it stays in place.
How to use it
Its compact size makes it useful for filling gaps between larger ramps and for practising quick transition tricks between one line and the next, as well as longer grind combinations.
