Description
Hydrogen V2 belongs to Elemental Playing Cards, Nicola Nisco’s series that pays tribute to the periodic table and the parallels it shares with a deck of cards. It is the fourth instalment in the series, the first second version of an element and also the first limited edition; the brand presented it as its first “isotope”.

Design
Both the deck and the tuck box are fully custom, with a clean aesthetic inspired by chemical symbols. The back is two-way (it looks the same whichever way the card is turned), which is practical for magic and for play.
Manufacturing
It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) on classic card stock, with a modern cut and an Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide). A single print run of 2,500 decks was made in 2021.
