Design
For this reissue the palette was adjusted towards a brighter red and blue with a retro flavour. The court cards follow the Arrco style (that of the old Arrco Playing Card Company, a printer whose court cards were seen on many casino decks), the Ace of Spades is new and the jokers are designed to match, with the feel of an illuminated marquee sign. The tuck box is closed with a seal inspired by old tax stamps and a red tear strip for easy opening.
Manufacturing
It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) on thin card stock with a Cambric finish (a very fine raised texture, similar to linen, that helps the cards glide over one another).
