Design
Basquiat worked within Neo-Expressionism and blended street art techniques with social commentary, using quick strokes, written words and symbols that recur throughout his paintings. The deck draws on that visual language: every card and the tuck box itself have been adapted from the artist’s original works, so his style is present inside and out.
Manufacturing
It is made in the United States. According to the information published at its launch, it is printed on FSC-certified paper (from sustainably managed forests), with vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates.
