Description
Monogram is a deck from Black Roses Playing Cards that embraces minimalism: a very clean design in which gold foil (metallic stamping) takes centre stage. Although its looks make it appealing for collectors, it was conceived with magicians in mind, with several hidden features built in.

Design
The white and gold back and the tuck box feature shiny gold foil. The tuck box has a linen finish, a fine woven texture to the touch. The design hides reveals intended for magic routines, that is, design details that can be used to reveal a card in a surprising way.
Features for magic
The faces have subtle one-way marking, meaning their design is not symmetrical and lets you tell whether a card has been turned around. It also includes four gaff cards (gaffs): a duplicate gold Two of Diamonds, a double-face card, a double-back card and a blank-face card. It has a traditional cut, which is considered favourable for the faro shuffle (interweaving the two halves card by card).
