Description
Broken Borders is a deck from The New Deck Order, the cardistry project (cardistry being the art of performing flourishes and eye-catching moves with cards) founded by cardist Jaspas. It is a reinterpretation of the standard deck designed to look good in motion, and its most recognisable feature is that the design breaks the classic white border of the cards.

Design
The graphic elements spill over the margins and diagonal stripes run across the cards, so that in cuts, fans and spins the whole gains dynamism. The indices and pips on the faces are drawn bolder and more visible than in the house’s earlier decks, such as the School of Cardistry V3. The yellow and black motif, reminiscent of hazard warning tape, is repeated on the cards, the tuck box and the seal.
