The MeiLong 6x6 V2 is the second version of the budget 6x6 in the MeiLong line, which MoYu markets under its sub-brand MoFang JiaoShi (MFJS). This is the non-magnetic variant, the entry point into the format.

Design

At 61 mm it is a compact 6x6, smaller than the 65 mm that was usual for the format a few years ago, and at about 135 g it is light. It is stickerless (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself). As it has no magnets, the alignment of the layers depends on the mechanism and on how the screws are adjusted.

How it behaves

It is a cube designed for learning and practice, with no competition ambitions. Out of the box it may feel a little rough; with some lubricant and a few breaking-in sessions the turning improves. With heavy use it is worth checking the tension, as some users point out that the centre caps can come loose if it is left very loose.

What level it suits
