The Letter Block Puzzle is a brain teaser from Professor Puzzle’s Einstein collection, designed by Martin H. Watson. It consists of fourteen wooden blocks that together spell out the name Albert Einstein. They are used for twelve different challenges, arranged from easiest to hardest.

How it works

Each challenge asks you to fit the blocks together in a specific way. The first ones serve as a warm-up to get familiar with the pieces, and the difficulty increases up to the last two challenges, named “Relativity Riddle” and “Quantum Query” as a nod to Einstein’s physics. This progressive format lets you come back to the puzzle over several sessions, moving forward as you solve the earlier ones.

The lettered blocks also work as a decorative object when the puzzle is assembled.

Who it is for

With simple challenges at the start, it is accessible to beginners, and the final ones offer a serious challenge to those already experienced with assembly puzzles. It is recommended from age 8 and can be shared as a family, since each person can try a different challenge.
