The T-Time Puzzle is the Professor Puzzle Matchbox Puzzle series version of one of the best-known flat-piece puzzles: the T puzzle. It consists of four wooden pieces with seemingly simple shapes, and the challenge is to lay them on the table so they form a complete capital T, with no gaps or pieces left over.

How it works
It’s a dissection puzzle, the same family as the tangram: a shape has been cut into pieces and has to be rebuilt. With only four pieces, the task sounds trivial, and that is precisely why it tends to surprise people trying it for the first time. There is no hidden move or mechanical trick: it all depends on how you look at the pieces and how you orient them.
Its simplicity makes it well suited to playing as a family or setting as a quick challenge for others.
What’s included
The four pieces come in the series’ matchbox-style box, illustrated with a pun on teatime. Nine more matchstick challenges are printed on the sides to extend the fun.
