The deck

It is pressed from wood veneers, like a real skateboard in miniature, with a popsicle shape (raised nose and tail) and pop (the crisp snap as you lift it) similar to a skateboard’s. The X-Wide size leaves more room for your fingers and adds stability. It comes with riptape, the fine foam grip tape that gives traction.

Trucks and wheels

The trucks (the metal axles that hold the wheels and let the board turn) are made by Blackriver, matched to the width of the deck, and are fixed with eight screws and lock nuts that do not work loose with use. The Blank Street wheels have bearings (ball bearings) for a smooth roll. The included tool is used to assemble the setup and adjust how tight the turning is.
