Fingerboard ramps and modules: build your skatepark

The best part of fingerboard is replicating real spots in miniature — handrails, stair sets, manual pads, quarters and bowls. Fingerboard ramps and pro modules are 1:24 scale replicas of real obstacles, made in treated wood or resin with metal edges to mimic real handrails and kerbs.

Types of ramps and modules

  • Quarters: curved ramps for airs and transfers.
  • Ledges (kerbs): rectangular blocks with metal edge for slides and grinds.
  • Funboxes: combined modules with stairs, ramps and rail.
  • Rails: metal bars for grinds.
  • Manual pads: low blocks to practice manuals and nose manuals.
  • Stairs: stair sets of 3–6 steps for drops and stair sets.
  • Bowls: curved bowls for carving and airs.

Brands of fingerboard ramps

The pioneer of this kind of product is the German Blackriver: they make ramps by hand from selected wood with guaranteed finishes. They've earned their place among the best in the world and are the standard at international competitions. We also stock other brands with good products: more affordable DIY "obstacle pack" ramps and modules with real-spot details.

How to build your first fingerboard skatepark

  1. Start with a small quarter + a ledge. With those two obstacles you can chain most basic combos.
  2. Add a manual pad to practice manuals and combine with grinds.
  3. Once you've nailed the basics, add a funbox or a rail to step up.
  4. Set everything on a smooth surface (wood or plexiglass). Mark typical lines with tape to train flow.

FAQ about fingerboard ramps

Are ramps compatible with any fingerboard brand?

Yes. The dimensions are universal (≈1:24 scale) and any complete from Blackriver, Bollie, Yellowood or even Tech Deck rolls perfectly on any ramp.

What material are ramps made of?

Usually maple or beech wood with a metal edge (for grinds), or resin in more complex modules. Blackrivers are wood with aluminum rail.

Do I need many ramps to have fun?

No. With 2–3 well-chosen obstacles (quarter, ledge and manual pad) you have months of practice. The fun is in mastering tricks on what you have, not collecting.

Do you ship ramps to the Canary Islands?

Yes. Bigger ramps may carry a specific shipping cost by volume. We confirm in the cart before payment.
