Fingerboard decks from top pro brands
Fingerboard decks are the centerpiece of any setup. Pro decks are made of 5–7 layer folded maple wood, with concave and real kicktail, standard 32 mm width and a thickness that flexes without snapping. Our catalog covers decks from all pro brands: Blackriver, Bollie, Yellowood, Berlinwood and others, in different widths, graphics and limited series.
What to consider when picking a deck
- Width: 32 mm is the standard, but there are 33, 34 or 35 mm decks for bigger fingers or more stability.
- Concave: the lateral curvature. More concave = more flip control. Less concave = easier slides.
- Kicktail shape: the curved tips. Each brand has its profile. Blackriver and Berlinwood are reference.
- Graphic: aesthetic. Limited series with exclusive graphics also become collectible.
- Brand: Blackriver and Berlinwood lead the high end. Bollie and Yellowood have great value.
How to assemble a loose deck
A loose deck doesn't ship with grip or trucks. You'll also need: griptape, trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware. All in the trucks, wheels & accessories section. Prefer a simpler path? See the completes ready to ride.
FAQ
Does the deck ship with grip on?
No. Loose decks ship without grip so you can pick the type and color you prefer. Grip is applied carefully later, like on a real skate.
What width do you recommend to start?
32 mm. The worldwide standard and what 80% of fingerboarders use. Switch only if you have big fingers (33–34 mm) or you're after something specific.
Are Berlinwood decks as good as people say?
Yes — a worldwide reference. Selected wood, pro press, careful graphics. You pay for the quality but the difference shows.
