Set of fingerboard wheels from Bollie, the entry-level brand of Germany’s Blackriver. They are injection-moulded plastic wheels with bearings inside, designed to give beginners a smooth, controllable roll without yet moving up to pro gear.

What they’re for
They are the same wheels fitted to Bollie completes, so they work as a direct replacement or to add colour to a board. Compared with the solid wheels on toy fingerboards, the bearings make the board roll further and more quietly.
Fitting
They fit on the axle of any standard-size truck (the metal axle that attaches the wheels to the deck) and are secured with its nut. Swapping the smooth plastic wheels of a toy fingerboard for wheels with bearings is usually the most noticeable upgrade when you are starting out.
