The Krom Acrobat, officially catalogued as Jacob Acrobat MOD (V2), is the signature kendama of Jacob Grégoire, a circus artist and acrobat from Quebec known in the kendama community as @jacob_acrobat. The idea behind it is simple: translate his fluid playing style into a ken built for linked movements and clean transitions.

It is built on Krom's Freestyle shape, a versatile ken that works well for both basic tricks and longer lines. Ken and tama are turned from beech, a medium-hard wood that feels good in the hand and holds up nicely to daily wear. The paint uses the I+D Clear system, a transparent coat that lets the natural grain show through while adding a controlled amount of grip without ever feeling sticky.

The tama measures 61 mm in diameter, slightly under the current competitive standard, which helps sticks land cleanly and does not punish precision tricks. As part of Krom's Weight Match Guarantee, every set arrives with no more than seven grams of difference between ken and tama, a margin that lets you fine-tune the feel in your hand.

The pack ships with the assembled kendama, a small pouch holding the Stressonion (the onion-shaped stress ball Jacob uses to warm up his hand between sessions), stickers, a spare string and a string-swap tool. It is a setup meant to carry the player from the first bounce to the last of the session.
