The Jerry's Nugget deck was born in 1970, when the Las Vegas casino of the same name ordered a print run from the United States Playing Card Company. Over the years, those stored cards became a benchmark among magicians and collectors. The Gilded Vintage Feel line reissues it in various colours with painted edges; this is the yellow variant.

Design

It keeps the back with the casino tower, here in a bright yellow that contrasts with the palette of the original deck. It retains the 1970 jokers and Ace of Spades, and the tuck box reproduces period details: a long flap, a red pull strip and an off-centre seal, numbered in this edition.

Manufacturing

It is made by Expert Playing Card Company with its JN finish, which aims to come close to the feel of the original cards, on a firmer card stock than that of the Modern Feel line. It has a traditional cut, the one used on old decks, which many magicians prefer for the faro shuffle (interweaving the two halves card by card). The edges are gilded, with a layer of colour applied to the edges, in yellow.
