Description
The Aurora edition of 1001 Nights is a Room One deck inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. It is the twelfth deck in the first season of the Room One collection, and it stands out both for its cards and for its accordion box, which unfolds a scene in several layers.

Design
The box is the so-called Accordion 3D, a format of Room One’s own: its folds form overlapping planes in which King Shahryar and Scheherazade appear, the storyteller who links one tale to the next night after night. It features embossing and silver hot foil stamping (a metallic film fixed with heat). The 55 cards are custom designed and carry silver cold foil details, a metallic film technique applied during printing itself.
Manufacturing
The edges of the deck are gilded with a decorative pattern (gilded, meaning the card edges are metallised), a detail you can appreciate when the deck is squared up.
