JT Crown is the line with which Joker and the Thief, an Australian brand based in Brisbane, extends the story of its first decks. This green version shares its design with the red, blue and gold ones, and features illustrations by Pedro Oyarbide, an artist who has worked with the brand for years.

Design

The common thread is our relationship with life and a stoic view of death, an idea the brand developed during a trip to Greece, the birthplace of Stoic philosophy. The illustrations are hand-drawn, while the court cards (J, Q and K) are minimalist and were designed by the Joker and the Thief team itself, so they are easy to read when playing or performing magic.

Manufacturing

The cards use a quality stock with a finish that helps them glide smoothly. The tuck box has embossing on the design elements and is closed with the brand's metallic seal.
