Design
The 54 cards are custom-illustrated by several artists and revolve around the atmosphere and food culture of these markets, with the aim of bringing them closer to those unfamiliar with them. The tuck box is printed with metallic ink, which gives it a metallic sheen different from that of an ordinary paper box.
Manufacturing
Unlike the other editions in the series, this one is made of plastic, produced by 808 Magic Card Company. Plastic cards usually stand up better to moisture, stains and continuous use; the publisher maintains that the feel is comparable to that of a traditional paper deck.
