Description
Queens is a deck created by Jason Brumbalow, an American designer with a long list of decks to his name, and made by Expert Playing Card Company. It takes its idea from chess: the pawn that, through sheer persistence, can reach the far side of the board and become the most powerful piece. It is a tribute to anyone who starts out as nobody’s favourite and still chases what they love.

Design
The back has a checkered pattern reminiscent of a board. The faces are based on the classic poker deck artwork, but recoloured to match the overall look. The concept combines classic iconography with a bold, modern graphic treatment.
Manufacturing
It is made by Expert Playing Card Company on standard stock with a Slipstream finish, a surface treatment designed to help the cards glide consistently and stand up well to frequent use.
