Description
theory11 dedicated this deck to Saturday Night Live, the NBC comedy show that has been on the air since 1975. The entire design draws on the show itself: the stage set, Studio 8H in New York from which it is broadcast, and nods to sketches and segments that audiences recognise instantly.

Design
theory11 customised the Ace of Spades, the joker, the tuck box and the court cards. The court cards are inspired by sketches and segments from different eras of the show, such as Weekend Update (its satirical newscast), the character Stefon or The Ladies Man. The cowbells are there too, a nod to one of the show’s most quoted sketches.
Manufacturing
It is printed in the United States by United States Playing Card Company on FSC-certified paper (from sustainably managed forests), with plant-based inks and starch-based laminates. The finish is Air Cushion, a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide over one another.
