October V2 is the follow-up, twelve years later, to the October deck from Fulton's, Brad Fulton's label. For this new instalment Fulton once again worked with illustrator Steven Noble, who created the original, and the result is a completely new Halloween deck.

Design

Noble drew the illustrations by hand using the scratchboard technique, which involves scratching away a surface covered in black ink to reveal white lines, giving the look of an old engraving. He also hand-drew the numbers and letters on every card in a new bone-like typeface. The back of this first edition has a black border and features a Halloween pumpkin. The tuck box has its own illustration with deep embossing, and inside there is a cemetery scene paying tribute to actor Tony Todd, known for Candyman and a friend of Fulton's.

Manufacturing

It is printed in China on a premium thin stock designed for cardistry.
