Description
Knights is one of Ellusionist’s best-known lines. It was born from a collaboration between the magicians Daniel Madison and Chris Ramsay, and has since had several editions and colours. It is recognisable by its classic look with gold details and by being designed for magic.

Design
The original illustration is by Oban Jones and uses metallic gold ink that shimmers as the cards move. The overall approach is understated and elegant, with a simple tuck box in a matt finish and gold foil (metallic stamping) details. The feature most talked about among magicians is that the back hides a marking system: at a glance it goes unnoticed, but anyone who knows it can identify cards. In the Knights V2 edition the system indicates both the value and the suit.
Manufacturing
The line has been produced by different printers and on different stocks depending on the edition, so the feel may vary between versions.
