What Single-Track means

On the AoFu V5, the number of “tracks” indicates where the cube carries magnets. The Single-Track version has only the classic magnetisation between the outer pieces, 144 magnets, with no core magnets and no anti-pop system. The Double-Track adds 16 core magnets and the Triple-Track also adds 72 anti-pop magnets. Fewer magnets mean less weight and freer turning; more magnets, more stability.

Design

At 62 mm along each edge it is a compact 7x7, comfortable to hold for its format. It is stickerless (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself), with a non-glossy matte finish. The tension is adjusted with the screws in the core, and MoYu has revised the internal mechanism to improve stability and corner cutting (the ability to turn even when the layers are not aligned).

What level it suits

It is designed for anyone who solves the 7x7 regularly or competes in the event and wants a modern, light cube.
