Materials and manufacturing

The deck is pressed from five maple veneers, like a skateboard in miniature, which gives it pop (the crisp snap as you lift it) and flex similar to a skateboard’s. The popsicle shape has the nose and tail raised equally. The graphic is applied by heat transfer and wears with use much as it would on a real board.

Setting it up

At 32 mm, Wide is a very popular middle ground: a little more stable than narrow 29 mm decks without losing agility in flips. This is a deck only: pair it with trucks (the metal axles that hold the wheels) of around 32 mm and wheels with bearings. It comes with a sheet of riptape, the fine foam grip tape stuck on top so your fingers hold without slipping.
