Cooper Eddy is one of the professional players at Sweets Kendamas, and his signature model, known as #CoopMod, is one of the brand’s most recognisable. This edition takes his second Pro Model onto the Turbo shape, Sweets’ newest.

Design

For this second model, Cooper wanted to try reflective materials and bring back the glow-in-the-dark paint from his earlier versions. The graphics combine flames with a grid inspired by the rubber cutting mats designers use, as a nod to the place where ideas are born. The Turbo, designed by Christian Fraser for his 2026 model, starts from the classic BOOST and redraws it with a sleeker silhouette, fine-tuned for taps (knocking the ball against the ken) and kenflips (flipping the handle). The tama (the ball) debuts a break-in bevel, a recess next to the hole that makes stalls, the tricks in which the ball rests on the ken, more stable.

Materials and finish

The ken is maple and the tama beech, with Anti-Skid 2.0: a matte clear lacquer that gives grip but leaves room to correct the ball during a trick, and which the brand considers more durable than its earlier matte lacquers. Part of every sale goes to the player.
