How it works
The magnets are fitted at the factory and pull the pieces in when a face approaches the aligned position, which reduces overshot turns. On this model the strength is light to medium: it helps with alignment without slowing the turning, and anyone coming from a non-magnetic megaminx will notice more control.
Design
What sets it apart most is the design of the pieces: they all have raised ridges on the surface, intended to give a better hold on the puzzle while turning. It is stickerless (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself) and weighs about 149 g.
What level it suits
It suits anyone who can already solve the 3x3 and wants to start on the megaminx with an affordable magnetic puzzle, or as a second megaminx for practice. The tension can be adjusted with the screws.
