Passport Project is a deck created by French magician Yoan Tanuji together with Magic Dream, a French publisher of magic products. It starts from the Bicycle Maiden Back and gives it a twist: each card carries the flag of a different country on its back. More than a collector’s deck, it is conceived as a tool for performing travel-themed magic.

Design

The back combines the Bicycle Maiden Back pattern with the colours of a flag, so that when the deck is spread a tour of dozens of countries appears. There are no jokers: all 52 cards carry a flag, and several special cards are added. The original tuck box is closed with a custom seal.

Manufacturing

It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) with an Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide when spreading and shuffling them).
