Description
The Banshees Advanced are not a deck for playing, but cards designed exclusively for card throwing (the discipline of throwing cards with power and precision). They are the reinforced version of the Banshees, which Jason Brumbalow designed after an anecdote: a card thrown by Rick Smith Jr., known for his records in this field, produced an audible whistle.

Design
Each card has a set of die-cut holes in the centre that make it sound as it cuts through the air, hence the name, taken from the banshee of Irish folklore, a spirit known for its wail. In the Advanced version, that sound is described as more intense than in the standard one.
Manufacturing
They are made from a reinforced material, different from the stock of a conventional deck, which helps the card stay flat and keep its flight after many throws and impacts. Sources agree that they do not bend like ordinary cards, although some users note that, with heavy use, the corners eventually wear.
