Description
Cherry Casino is a line of decks from Pure Imaginations Projects inspired by classic casino decks, with the first edition released in 2015. The holographic Sands Mirage is presented as the first deck to use double hot foil stamping on a large scale (a metallic film fixed to the paper with heat and pressure).

Design
The back starts from the series design, with the cherries that give it its name, but here it is printed in holographic foil, which reflects every colour of the rainbow as it moves under the light. A second foil is applied over that one on the cherry, shifting from a dark red to a brighter red as you slowly tilt the card. The layering leaves a slight raised texture you can feel to the touch.
Manufacturing
Despite the two foils, the publisher states that the cards use casino-quality paper, without excessive thickness or a rough feel, and that they sound soft and even when riffle shuffled. It also describes them as handcrafted.
