Design

Aces, jokers, court cards (J, Q and K) and tuck box are directly inspired by the wizarding world. The characters featured include Harry with the golden snitch and his Nimbus 2000 broom, his friends Ron and Hermione, Voldemort with his yew wand, Snape with his Potions book and Luna Lovegood. The tuck box has ornate gold foil work (a metallic film applied with heat), details in red foil, Gryffindor's colour, and highly detailed embossing.

Manufacturing

The cards are made in the United States on FSC-certified paper (which guarantees it comes from sustainably managed forests), with vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates, according to the publisher. It does not include gaff cards or double-back cards.
