This is the green foil (metallic stamping) edition of the Vintage Chicken Nugget, from Hanson Chien Production Co. It was added as a stretch goal during the series’ crowdfunding campaign, along with other colour variants.

Design

The deck parodies the Jerry's Nugget, the decks from the Jerry's Nugget casino in Las Vegas that have become collector’s items. The first parody, from 2012, already imitated their colours, Ace of Spades, tax stamp and joker, with court cards binging on doughnuts and popcorn. The “Vintage” version goes one step further back: it takes as its model the oldest edition of the Jerry's, printed by Arrco Playing Card Company (absorbed by the United States Playing Card Company in 1987), of which Hanson Chien obtained and authenticated a copy. This variant starts from the green edition and adds foil stamping.

Manufacturing

A specific card stock was developed for this series, called “Vintage”, thinner than usual, with the aim of coming close to the feel of those old decks and being comfortable for cardists and magicians. The collection was crowdfunded in 2020: the main editions were the blue and the green, and the black, sky blue, dark red and green foil were added as stretch goals of the campaign.
