The Odyssey Elite V2 is the refresh of the Elite edition within Odyssey, the space-themed deck series associated with Sergio Roca. It arrived some five years after the first version, with redesigned faces, new borders and its own tuck box. It is presented as a limited edition that will not be printed again.

Design

The approach blends minimalism and a futuristic look. The back uses a vivid red, chosen for this edition, with a well-defined border. The court cards have been redrawn with a science fiction feel, as if they were characters with armour and mechanical parts, and the jokers receive a more modern interpretation. The tuck box has a diagonal opening and a magnetic closure; in this version its structure has been refined and the board is thicker and sturdier.

Manufacturing

It is printed by TCC (Taiwan Playing Card Company). Both the paper and the finish bear the name Elite and, according to the brand, were developed specifically for this deck. Each unit arrives sealed in a clear security wrap.
