Description
Palette is a deck designed for cardistry (the art of creating eye-catching shapes and moves with cards) and magic, unveiled at Cardistry-Con 2019, the leading annual gathering for the discipline. Its approach is to move away from traditional faces and pips (the suit symbols) and work with shapes and colour instead.

Design
The entire design is built from pastel colour blocks. The back is made up of squares and rectangles, and the pips on the faces follow the same geometric logic. The idea is that when you do block cuts, fans or table spreads, those pieces fit together and form colour compositions; it also lends itself to reveals in magic tricks. The soft tones were chosen so the deck does not visually compete with the person handling it.
Manufacturing
It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC).
