Description
Icon Black is the black version of the ICON deck, a minimalist design built around the idea of the icon as a personal source of inspiration. This edition keeps the simplicity of the first ICON but carries the whole set over to a deep black.

Design
The central motif is a hanging light bulb, which appears on the box and is repeated on the Ace of Spades and the two jokers, designed to match. The back is built from iconography: symbols that at first glance seem randomly placed, but that refer to ideas such as peace, the desire for wealth or creative inspiration. The faces keep the standard design, which makes the cards easy to read during play.
Manufacturing
It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) on pressed stock, known as crushed (a treatment that makes the cards thinner and more flexible), with an Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps them glide over one another). That combination lets you spread them evenly on the table while keeping them neatly together when handling them.
