Description
Navigators is a nautical-themed deck from theory11. It pays tribute to sailors and their voyages throughout history, and to humanity’s long relationship with the sea. According to the shops that distributed it, it was the publisher’s first release of 2019.

Design
The whole design is original: the back, the aces, the court cards and the jokers were drawn specifically for this deck, with abundant detail in every element. The surprise lies in the tuck box: inside it carries an optical illusion pattern in gold foil (metallic stamping) reminiscent of a mirage on the horizon, like the one a sailor might see after days on the high seas.
Manufacturing
It is made in the United States. As is usual with theory11, care is taken over the origin of the materials: FSC-certified paper from sustainably managed forests, vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates.
