The James Bond Silver Edition is the dark silver variant, the so-called gunmetal (the metallic grey of blued steel), of the 007 deck published by theory11. It joins the original edition and the Gold Edition, and its distinguishing feature is that the foil (metallic stamping) is not limited to the box: it also appears on every card.

Design

The Ace of Spades, the joker, the court cards and the tuck box have their own designs inspired by more than six decades of Bond films, with nods to his gadgets and weapons. The silver is applied as traditional foil, not as metallic ink, so it shines differently depending on how the light hits it. The tuck box has two layers of foil and, on the back, the Bond family coat of arms in three-dimensional embossing.

Manufacturing

Like the rest of theory11's decks, it is made in the United States with FSC-certified paper (from sustainably managed forests), vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates. It is standard poker size (63.5 × 88.9 mm).
