Description
Hudson is theory11's reinterpretation of an old playing card brand. According to the publisher's account, the original factory was built beside the Hudson River in New York in 1856, became popular with poker players and families, and disappeared in 1871 with the rise of the New York Consolidated Card Company. The new deck revives that name with a completely new design.

Design
theory11 custom designed the Ace of Spades, the joker, the back and the tuck box, in a detailed style with a classic feel. The number cards and court cards (J, Q and K) follow the standard pattern, which makes them easy to read during play.
Manufacturing
It is designed and made in the United States by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC). It uses crushed stock, pressed during manufacturing for added flexibility, and an Air Cushion finish, a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide against each other.
