WTF 2 is the follow-up to De'vo Schattenreich’s WTF Cardistry deck, named cardistry deck of the year in 2017. For this second version De'vo worked again with the artist Jay Peteranetz. The idea is to combine cardistry (the art of performing flashy displays and moves with cards) with printed letters that let you spell out words.

Design

Each card can be shown in a light or dark tone and, at the same time, carries letters with which complete words can be formed, either on the table or within a fan. Compared with the first version, the indices and pips were moved towards the edges to leave more room for the letters, new colours were added and some little-used letters (Z, Q, X and J) were replaced by other letters and symbols. It includes cover cards for spreading fans without revealing the letters.

It can be combined with other WTF 2 decks or with the Cardistry Switch, which shares the same back.

Manufacturing

It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company on crushed card stock (crushed, more flexible and consistent) with an Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide). It was released as a limited edition.
