Description
The blue Aviator is the blue-back version of one of the oldest brands of the United States Playing Card Company. It was created as a tribute to Charles Lindbergh’s transatlantic flight in 1927 and has remained the budget option next to Bee and Bicycle.

Design
A white-bordered blue back and standard poker-size faces. As a curiosity, because it was used for decades as the base for promotional decks for businesses, the Ace of Spades and the jokers did not carry the Aviator brand until the late 1980s.
Manufacturing
It is made by the United States Playing Card Company with a smooth finish, without the embossing typical of Bicycle, and with thinner card stock. In the hand it feels lighter and more flexible.
