Active filters

Orbit is a playing card brand known within the cardistry and deck-collecting community for its limited editions and collaborations. The catalogue isn't huge, but each release tends to include details that cardists appreciate. Here we'll walk you through the Orbit decks we carry and what each one is best suited for.

What kind of decks Orbit makes

Orbit focuses on decks built for cardistry: cards with good handling, eye-catching back designs and limited print runs. Most are printed by USPCC (United States Playing Card Company), which shows in the finish and the durability of the air-cushion coating. It's not a stage-magic brand with gimmicks, but standard well-built decks that work great for flourishes and also play fine.

Notable editions you'll find here

Our Orbit catalogue includes several of the brand's most recognisable references:

  • Orbit Christmas and Christmas V2: holiday-themed editions, one of the brand's recurring series.
  • Orbit Tally-Ho Circle Back (Blue and Red): a collaboration on the classic Tally-Ho stock, valued for its feel.
  • Orbit CC 2nd Edition: second edition of one of their most re-released decks.
  • Orbit Black Hole: a dark design with strong visual contrast in motion.
  • Orbit Chroma Key: a deck with a finish made for video editing (green-screen backs).
  • Orbit Squintz: one of the more affordable options in the range.

Who these decks are for

If you do cardistry, Orbit decks tend to fit in well: the paper fans easily and the backs are designed so moves read clearly on camera. If you collect, the limited print runs and numbered editions make them interesting. For magic they work like any standard USPCC deck, though that's not their main focus.

Quality and feel in hand

Printed by USPCC, quality is what you'd expect from that factory: sturdy cards, air-cushion finish and standard thickness. The Tally-Ho Circle Back uses Tally-Ho stock, slightly different from Bicycle and with a thinner feel that many cardists prefer. The others use Bee or standard USPCC stock depending on the edition.

Price range

Orbit decks in our store sit around 11-15€, with some special editions like the Christmas climbing a bit higher due to their collectable nature. That's in line with other custom decks printed at USPCC.

Frequently asked questions about Orbit

Are Orbit decks suitable for magic?

Yes, they're standard poker decks printed by USPCC. They work for basic magic and card magic, though their main focus is cardistry and collecting.

What sets Orbit apart from other cardistry brands?

Orbit stands out for its limited editions and collaborations, such as the Tally-Ho Circle Back series. Print quality is similar to other USPCC brands; the difference is usually in design and availability.

Are the Christmas editions different from each other?

Yes. Orbit has released several holiday versions over the years (Christmas, Christmas V2…), each with its own design. Some get reprinted, others stay as single runs.

What's the Orbit Chroma Key?

It's a deck with a green chroma-style back, designed for content creators who want to replace the back with graphics in video editing.

Are these decks numbered?

Some Orbit editions are numbered and others aren't. It depends on the specific run; we note it on each product page when it applies.
