The Jerry's Nugget decks were printed in 1970 for the Las Vegas casino of the same name and, after spending years in storage, became a cult item among magicians and collectors; specialist Lee Asher helped make them known. Once the originals sold out, authorised reissues were launched in two lines: Vintage Feel and Modern Feel. This is the Modern Feel in yellow.

Design

It reproduces the back with the casino tower, here in a bright yellow, one of the many colour variants the line has had, together with the casino-style indices and court cards of the original deck.

Manufacturing

It is printed by the United States Playing Card Company, just like the 1970 cards, on its web press, on premium Bee card stock. The stock is thin and crushed, a treatment that makes it flexible from the outset and brings it close to the thickness of the originals, with an Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide). It has a traditional cut, the one many magicians prefer for the faro shuffle (interweaving the two halves card by card).
