Description
The Bitcoin deck was launched in 2018 by Patrick Kun and Andrei Jikh, under the IPO52 label, through a crowdfunding campaign that far exceeded its goal. The entire design is inspired by the cryptocurrency and its history. This is its black edition.

Design
The illustrations are by Billy French and reinterpret the history of Bitcoin on the cards. The tuck box is made of soft-touch dyed black paper and features black and gold foil (metallic stamping) inside and out. Printed inside is the white paper with which Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin, typeset in the typeface of the United States Declaration of Independence. The cards incorporate a marking system that identifies value and suit: easy to read once you know it and discreet to everyone else. There is even a nod in binary code to the 21 million coin limit.
Manufacturing
The Bitcoin deck was printed in poker size on thin card stock with the Stud finish, specific to the printer Legends Playing Card Company.
