Design
The Noir version works in black and white, as a tribute to the Westerns of Hollywood’s golden age. The tuck box is black with silver foil (metallic stamping) and has laser cuts: on the front, a pair of swinging saloon doors invites you in, and on the back a circular opening reveals the central motif of the back design, the cylinder of a revolver. In this edition, the gold edges contrast with the dark palette of the cards.
Manufacturing
Gilding is applied to the edges of the deck once it has been cut, and it is a finish usually reserved for special editions.
