theory11 devoted a collection of four decks to Harry Potter, one for each Hogwarts house, and this is the Ravenclaw deck, recognisable by the house's blue. Each special card captures characters or moments from the story, from the Philosopher's Stone to the Deathly Hallows, so the deck works both as a complete game and as a small journey through the saga.

Design

All the art is custom made: the aces, the jokers, the court cards (J, Q and K) and the tuck box are inspired by characters and scenes from the wizarding world. Among others, they feature Harry with the golden snitch and his Nimbus 2000, Ron and Hermione, Voldemort with his yew wand, Snape in Potions class with his textbook and Luna Lovegood with her eye-catching spectacles. The outer box combines ornate gold foil work (a metallic film applied with heat), foil details in the house colour and very intricate embossing.

Manufacturing

The cards are made in the United States. According to theory11, they are printed on FSC-certified paper, which certifies that it comes from sustainably managed forests, with vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates. It does not include gaff cards or double-back cards.
