Description
Sembras is a theory11 deck inspired by a legendary tequila distillery located in Santa Rosa Canyon (Mexico). The Sembras house is part of a fictional story created for the deck: a family that, according to the tale, has been making its spirits since 1803 and whose ancestors were conjurers of magical elixirs.

Design
The artwork is by Abraham Lule, an artist born and raised in Mexico, who drew it by hand, combining traditional Mexican motifs with an air of mystery. A central place in the story goes to the family totem, which marks where the recipe book, known as the book of Remedies, is hidden. The tuck box is made of textured paper, with gold foil details (metallic stamping) and the seal of the Sembras distillery.
Manufacturing
Like theory11’s other recent decks, it is made in the United States on FSC-certified paper (from sustainably managed forests), with plant-based inks and starch-based laminates.
