Design
The illustrations imitate the style of woodcuts (prints carved into wood), a feature shared by other Polaris decks such as the Equinox. It is printed with neon inks from the Pantone range, which give it a bright, cheerful look. It is a four-colour deck, and the back is borderless (the artwork runs right to the edge of the card), which makes it look especially good when fanned.
Manufacturing
It is made on Bicycle-quality card stock with an embossed finish (embossed, a very fine raised texture that helps the cards glide and separate easily).
